Blarney Stone
by Lori on October 28, 2009

For a little corner college bar, the Blarney Stone has one of th best veggie burgers I have ever eaten! With actual chunks of real veggies like fresh peas, carrots and loads of other yummy stuff this $7 burger (with your choice of 'tots, fries of sweet potato fries) you can't go wrong!

Pod
by lori on July 24, 2009

I just ate at Pod last night for University City Dining Days! WOW....what a bargain! We had so much food for $30 per person. And if you arrive early, sit at the bar ahead of time for 50% off cocktails. Check it out thru July 30th

I like the fresh, contemporary atmosphere here. The bartenders that I've interacted with have all been super friendly. And drinks can't get much cheaper. Bring it on.

I was not too impressed. Beer is expensive, but tasty. Atmosphere is dark and dull. It is super close to home though, so once in a while I will splurge on a delicious beer.
